1 GOOD TASTE – to have a fine choice in liking things (i.e. ideas, art, food, clothes, people etc.)
2 THE ONE – the one major love of a person’s life
3 UP FRONT – (adv) first, at the beginning
4 JUST LIKE THAT – refers to an action done suddenly and unexpectedly
5 UPPITY – (adj) acting as if of a higher class or status that one really is
6 SKANK – (n) a corrupt or unpleasant person
7 PERFECTLY ADEQUATE – completely average or ordinary
8 ANAL – (adj) (psychology) implies that a person may be fussy or over organized because their childhood toilet or potty training was incomplete or interfered with (not polite)
9 WORK OUT – to go well or ideally
10 GET OVER – to mentally overcome a difficulty; to resolve an inner conflict
11 SID AND NANCY – a reference to Sid Vicious, a musician in a punk rock band, and Nancy Spungen. They had an abusive relationship (i.e. fighting, beating.) At one time he was accused of killing her.
