This short video explains simple ways to tell the time in English and to understand and use more advanced methods that native speakers use naturally.
These kinds of short videos can be practised every day and are good for English learners who want to self study and don’t have much time to commit in one sitting. These videos often follow the form of Cambridge tests and focus on the key skills in use of English, speaking, listening and writing sections.
The level of the videos can range from KET, to PET, to FCE and even students who study the Advanced level exams may find that some of the exercises and information can be useful in their practice.
The accent used is British English RP. For some videos, speaking will be faster and more natural with more slang and colloquial speaking, but in general it’s fairly easy to follow for all levels, including beginners.
Other videos include phrasal verb practice, quotes (quotations) about various topics, idioms, quizzes, transformations and word formation lessons. Please check out my channel for more lessons and ideas on how to improve your English in a few minutes per lesson.
In many of the videos, you may need to take a minute or two to think about the answers to the exercises, so please be ready to pause the video whilst you have think about it.
